NUKE PLAN EXPLOSION IN JAPAN

3-12-2011 11:13AM CST An explosion has occurred at a nuclear power plant in Japan. 4 injured. 3 workers exposed to radiation. Workers trying to cool reactor with sea water. Explosion is not known to be in the core of the reactor. People have been evacuated in a 12 mile radius and given iodine tablets. Total meltdown of the core is possible.

THOUSANDS STILL TYRYING TO ESCAPE LIBYA

2-26-2011 5:30PM CST Many foreigners still trapped in Libya trying to get out. Countries like France, Turkey and others are sending transports and military aircraft to Libya to try to protect their citizens and get them out. So far their is no report that the US is sending in anything other than transport planes. There has been speculation that a no-fly zone might be set up, but so far there has been no decision from Washington.

The US Navy was following but did not cause the action by the pirates. The pirates fired an RPG at a Navy destroyer. Fourteen pirates now in custody of US Navy.
